Frequency Electronics Inc. Awarded Major Satellite Payload Contract
MITCHEL FIELD, N.Y., April 25, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Frequency Electronics, Inc. (NASDAQ:FEIM) has been awarded an approximately $15 million contract to supply multi-frequency timing systems for a US/DOD satellite program. Exceptional performance of these systems is enabled by Frequency's proprietary low phase noise and Low G sensitivity technology. The work to be performed under this contract was previously expected to initiate in calendar 2015. It is part of the over $30 million of projects that Frequency reported had been delayed earlier this fiscal year. The majority of the work is presently expected to be performed within 18 to 24 months.
